Walkthrough · Mention-on-Behalf

Six steps from posting to a recorded appearance.

  1. Step 1 of 6

Register and verify your Sijil Amalan

Create an account and upload your Sijil Tahunan along with your Bar number. An administrator checks the certificate before your account is activated. Unverified accounts can browse but cannot post or accept.

  2. Step 2 of 6

    Post the mention

Enter the court hub from the Malaysian Judiciary e-Filing list, the hearing date and time, the case category, and the fee you are offering. Confirm the redaction of client-identifying details before the matter goes live.

  3. Step 3 of 6

    A verified peer accepts

Advocates browsing the directory see your matter alongside court, date, and fee. When a peer accepts, the matter is locked to them and you are notified immediately.

  4. Step 4 of 6

    Coordinate the brief

Share the case number, the brief position, and any standing directions through the matter record. Both parties see the same correspondence trail, and emergency contact details are exchanged under the communications protocol.

  5. Step 5 of 6

    The appearance

The attending advocate appears before the registrar or court, obtains the next directions, and records the outcome — adjournment date, orders made, and anything the instructing solicitor must act on.

  6. Step 6 of 6

    Close and settle

The instructing solicitor settles the fixed fee by direct bank transfer and uploads the receipt. Both parties rate the engagement. Unresolved disagreements go to the dispute queue, where administrators review the record.
