Two verticals

One network for the work you cannot be present for.

For Advocates

Mention-on-Behalf. Post a mention and have a verified advocate appear for you, or accept appearances from firms that need counsel in your courthouse.

For Service Agents

Service of Documents. Firms post serving jobs to vetted agents, who deliver the documents and file the Affidavit or Statement of Service.

How it works

A short procedural appearance, handled properly.

Each vertical runs on the same discipline: verified participants, fixed terms, and a written record of what happened.

01. Mention-on-Behalf

Step 1

Post the matter

Court, date, case type, and fee. Two minutes.

Step 2

A verified peer accepts

Only advocates with a verified Sijil Amalan can accept.

Step 3

Appearance recorded

Outcome notes return to you; the fee is settled directly.

02. Service of Documents

Step 1

Request service

Attach the documents and the service address.

Step 2

An agent serves them

Vetted service agents carry out personal or substituted service.

Step 3

AOS uploaded

The Affidavit or Statement of Service is filed back to the matter.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

What is a mention on behalf?

A mention is a short procedural appearance before the registrar or court, such as case management, directions, or a first mention. When you cannot attend, another verified advocate may appear on your behalf, record the outcome, and report it back to you.

How is my Sijil Amalan verified?

Every advocate uploads their Sijil Tahunan (Annual Certificate) at registration. An administrator checks it against the Malaysian Bar records before the account is activated. Accounts that lapse or are suspended lose access immediately.

Is my data protected?

Yes. MentionGo is built to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Matter documents are stored privately, access is limited to the instructing party, the attending advocate, and administrators, and you must confirm redaction of client-identifying details before posting.

How do I get paid?

Fees are fixed before the appearance and settled by direct bank transfer between the instructing and attending solicitor. MentionGo does not hold client money. Proof of payment is uploaded to the matter record.

Which courts are covered?

Hubs follow the Malaysian Judiciary e-Filing System court list: the High Courts of Malaya, Sessions Courts, and Magistrates' Courts across Malaysia, including appellate registries such as Putrajaya.

What if there is a dispute?

Either party can raise a dispute on the matter record. Administrators review the appearance notes, receipts, and correspondence, and may issue warnings or strikes. Three strikes remove an account from the network.

Ready to delegate your next mention?

Be the first to post a matter. Registration takes minutes; verification usually within a day.
