About
Built for the mornings you cannot be in two places.
Mission
MentionGo exists to make short procedural appearances dependable. A mention should not cost a practitioner a morning, a client meeting, or a trip between courthouses — and delegating it should never mean trusting a stranger.
Why we built MentionGo
Malaysian practitioners have coordinated mentions informally for decades — through chambers group chats, former pupils, and whoever happened to be at the Jalan Duta complex that day. The arrangement works until it does not: a missed appearance, an unrecorded outcome, a fee disputed after the fact, or a person nobody has verified.
We started MentionGo in 2025 to put that arrangement on a proper footing. Every advocate is verified against their Sijil Tahunan. Every appearance is recorded on the matter. Every fee is fixed in advance and settled directly between solicitors. The service of documents is held to the same standard, with vetted agents filing Affidavits and Statements of Service back to the firm.
We are deliberately a small, verified network rather than an open marketplace. Admission is earned through a practicing certificate and kept through conduct.
Principles
How we operate.
Verification before access
No advocate posts, accepts, or appears until their Sijil Tahunan has been checked by a person, not a script.
Direct engagements
The engagement is between instructing and attending solicitors. We facilitate the introduction and keep the record; we never sit between counsel and client.
Restrained by design
No gamification, no bidding wars, no noise. A matter is posted, accepted, appeared, and closed, with a written record at each step.
